I received a BFA in Illustration from Pratt Institute in New York City and joined the game industry in 1996 working on the third installment of Bungie Software's Marathon series. In 1999 I made the trek out to Seattle to work at Monolith Productions as the Lead 3D Artist for No One Lives Forever. I was the Art Director for No One Lives Forever 2, the original F.E.A.R. and Gotham City Impostors. In 2012 I co-founded Blackpowder Games with a few other ex-Monolith folks. We released our first game, Betrayer, in 18 months with 6 1/2 guys. In the Fall of 2016 I started teaching full time at DigiPen and am loving it. I regularly attend open life drawing and painting sessions.
